Job Summary
The Senior Merchant Management Support Manager plays a key role in overseeing merchant performance, driving operational efficiency, and supporting strategic initiatives across business units. This position is responsible for monitoring merchant registration performance, identifying performance gaps, and providing actionable insights through regular reporting to management and relevant teams
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify performance gaps and recommend actions
- Monitor Merchant Registration performance from each Business Unit
- Prepare regular performance report and insights for management and related Business Unit
- Plan, execute and close merchant related projects including new initiative, enhancement
- Prioritise product features based on business impact & feasibility
- Coordinate with related team on the development progress and ensure on-time delivery
- Proactively resolve issues and manage to reduce manual work, errors and turnaround time
- Work with relevant teams to resolve operational issues effecting merchant experience
- Manage and monitoring Merchant Business Performance including reporting, evaluation performance of the team
- Analyse data trends and provide actionable insights to improve merchant productivity
- Provide regular updates to Management with clear insight and recommendation of the performance
- Ensure all merchant business scopes are kept up to date through effective cross-functional collaboration
- Other tasks assigned by Management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, Management, or related fields.
- 5+ years in merchant management, POS acquiring, digital payment, retail banking
- Proven experience in merchant operations, performance monitoring and merchant support
- Understanding of risk, compliance and regulatory requirement related to merchant business
- Ability to analyse merchant performance data, KPIs
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities under pressure
- Cross-functional collaboration with business units
