Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, Backed by Wing Bank, Organizes Workshops on Standardized Labeling and Enhanced Production Systems for Local Businesses
The Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC), in partnership with Wing Bank, is empowering Cambodian SMEs to enhance their competitiveness and market readiness through a specialized workshop focused on the Benefits of Standardized Labeling for Products and Production Systems. With over 200 participants—including SME owners, government officials, and industry leaders—the initiative highlights best practices in labeling, compliance, and market access to foster transparency, consumer trust, and international trade opportunities.
H.E. Oknha Nguon Meng Tech, Director General of the CCC, emphasized that standardized labeling is not merely a regulatory requirement—it is a strategic tool for market expansion. “For SMEs aspiring to grow, meeting international standards is essential for credibility, consumer trust, and access to global markets. With the support of Wing Bank, we are enabling SMEs to improve product quality, expand market reach, and ensure long-term business sustainability,” said H.E. Tech.
The workshop reinforced the vital role that standardized labeling plays in ensuring product quality, safety, and competitiveness, both locally and internationally. Proper labeling not only facilitates regulatory compliance but also boosts consumer confidence and aligns with the Royal Government of Cambodia’s broader efforts to promote trade and foster sustainable economic growth.
This was more than just an informational session—it was an interactive training experience designed to help SMEs bridge the gap between local practices and global standards. Participants gained practical insights on overcoming compliance challenges and implementing best practices in areas such as raw material sourcing, workforce development, and financial planning, all critical components for business sustainability and expansion.
Reaffirming Wing Bank’s commitment to SME growth, Dmytro Kolechko, CEO of Wing Bank, said, “At Wing Bank, we believe in the power of knowledge combined with access to financial resources. This initiative empowers SMEs not only to adopt standardized labeling but also to leverage our financial tools and digital solutions to expand their operations and compete globally.”
In response to growing demand, additional training sessions will be held in Battambang, Takeo, and Sihanoukville, ensuring that SMEs across Cambodia have the opportunity to benefit from this vital knowledge and support.
Through this partnership, CCC and Wing Bank are committed to providing Cambodian SMEs with the tools, expertise, and financial support necessary to thrive in an increasingly competitive global economy. By investing in standardization, compliance, and skills development, SMEs can unlock new opportunities, strengthen their market presence, and enhance their ability to compete internationally.
Wing Bank’s collaboration with the CCC goes beyond this event, with ongoing initiatives such as the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit, CCC Gala Dinner, business tours, AI training, and Export Promotion to Foreign Markets workshops. These efforts help Cambodian businesses expand into key international markets, including China, Korea, Japan, Australia, and Canada.
