JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Timely preparation of tax payments and monthly tax returns, including Prepayment of Profit Tax, General Withholding Tax, and VAT via E-filing, with proper supporting documents submitted to the GDT by the required deadlines.
- Reconciliation of accounting records related to VAT Output, Withholding Tax, and Prepayment of Profit Tax for accounting team adjustments.
- Timely preparation of all documents required for payment and declaration of Patent Tax Registration annually.
- Assist the Line Manager in preparing the Annual Tax Return (TOI) and any tax claims and ensure proper filing of all related documents.
- Review agreements for tax compliance to ensure alignment with tax regulations and to mitigate any potential impact on the organization.
- Responsible for updating company information with the GDT, including new branch registration, changes in Branch Manager, or other company updates.
- Stay up to date with Prakas or instructions issued by the GDT and provide briefings to the team and management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance and banking, or equivalent professional qualifications.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of experience in the tax field are preferred.
- Professional proficiency in Khmer and English; knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus.
- Basic understanding of taxation.
- Ability to perform other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
