Job Summary

The Product Owner serves as the key coordinator between Public Banking Business Units, Business Analysts, and IT/Technology teams to ensure timely delivery of product development and enhancement projects. This role translates business needs into technical requirements, manages priorities, and ensures products meet stakeholder expectations and business objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a bridge between Business Units, Business Analysts, and IT teams to ensure effective communication.
  • Collect, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Translate requirements into user stories and maintain a prioritized product backlog.
  • Monitor project progress and coordinate across teams to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with QA and IT teams during testing and deployment phases.
  • Validate product features to ensure they meet agreed specifications before release.
  • Track project performance, adoption, and feedback from stakeholders.
  • Engage with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide updates.
  • Identify risks or delays in product delivery and escalate appropriately.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Banking & Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 4–6 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or IT project coordination.
  • Preferably with exposure to banking or financial services.
  • Business Understanding
  • Strong knowledge of Government or Public Sector operations to effectively align banking products and services.
