Job Summary
The Product Owner serves as the key coordinator between Public Banking Business Units, Business Analysts, and IT/Technology teams to ensure timely delivery of product development and enhancement projects. This role translates business needs into technical requirements, manages priorities, and ensures products meet stakeholder expectations and business objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
- Define product vision, roadmap, and delivery milestones in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
- Act as key liaison between Business Units, Business Analysts, IT, and external stakeholders
- Facilitate requirement workshops and solution discussions with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate product roadmap, progress, and changes
- Monitor product development progress and coordinate cross‑functional teams to resolve issue
- Identify delivery risks and escalate issues to management with mitigation plans
- Collaborate with QA and IT teams during SIT, UAT, and production deployment
- Support post‑implementation review and continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyze insights to propose enhancements and optimization initiative
- Drive continuous improvement of product, process, and delivery practices
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Banking & Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 4–6 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or IT project coordination.
- Preferably with exposure to banking or financial services.
- Core banking systems and digital banking platforms
- Digital product management
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven experience managing complex digital or banking products knowledge of Government or Public Sector operations to effectively align banking products and services.
