JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver high-quality features on time
  • Own technical delivery for squad(s): plan, estimate, de-risk, and ensure timely release                    
  • Track progress and address blockers early                       
  • Ensure system reliability and performance                    
  • Lead solution design & architecture within domain (API, microservices, integrations)                    
  • Collaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders to refine backlog & align priorities                                        
  • Improve code quality through standards, reviews, and automated testing                    
  • Uphold engineering excellence: code reviews, unit/integration tests, security practices                    
  • Ensure compliance with banking/security standards and documentation        
  • Coach team members to enhance skills, autonomy, and productivity                    
  • Mentor developers; facilitate learning and career growth                    
  • Resource planning & coaching  
  • Strengthen DevSecOps and CI/CD                    
  • Drive DevSecOps: CI/CD, observability, incident response, SRE practices                    
     

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Modern backend/frontend stacks (e.g., Java/Kotlin/.NET/Node, React/Angular), REST/gRPC                                    
  • Microservices, event-driven architecture, API design, database (SQL/NoSQL)                                    
  • Cloud & containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD (GitLab/GitHub Actions, Jenkins)                                    
  • Security by design (OWASP, SAST/DAST), performance tuning, observability (Prometheus/Grafana)                                    
  • Agile/Scrum, backlog management, story mapping                                    
  • 7+ years in software engineering; 2+ years leading teams or technical delivery                                    
  • Proven delivery of scalable, secure systems in fintech/banking preferred                                    
  • Hands-on with code reviews, testing strategies, CI/CD, cloud-native deployments                                    
  • Stakeholder collaboration across Product, QA, Security, and Operations
