WingMall now undertakes charity activities in northwest Cambodia where communities remain in need.

WingMall has increased its donations to Phare Ponleu Selpak in Battambang, home to over 1,000 children and youth from poor families, further encouraging them to promote Cambodia’s culture through the arts.

The WingMall donation included paints, study materials, books, masks, hand sanitizer, and food to over 450 children and youth being taught at Phare Ponleu Selpak.

“The smiles of the children make every donation worthwhile. We are thrilled WingMall has been given the chance to support Phare Ponleu Selpak, and are proud to help the young students, who can now promote Cambodian culture through their art and talents. In turn, we hope this activity can encourage others to give back to their communities,” said Keng Chan, Head of Delivery Operations at WingMall..

“WingMall’s presence in Battambang improves connections between merchants and customers and also supports the community by providing jobs and delivery solutions. Our vision is to bring innovative digital payment solutions to improve the daily lives of every Cambodian,” said Chan.

WingMall’s charitable activities do not stop there. WingMall recently donated to Buddhism for Social Development Action (BSDA) to help youth in Kampong Cham province, and also extended support to M’Lop Tapang, a haven for vulnerable children in Sihanoukville.

“We have worked with hundreds of children across Battambang province, providing them social support, as well as the professional skills that lead to lasting employment. We believe that all children, regardless of background, deserve to have access to the healing powers of the arts,” said Khawaja, Osman, Executive Director of Phare Ponleu Selpak.

“WingMall’s donation today supports us in spreading love and a passion for the arts across Cambodia. Thank you WingMall for your kindness,” said Osman.

Established in 1994, Phare Ponleu Selpak has empowered over 1,000 students through schools, education activities, and programs including performing, visual, and applied arts leisure classes, as well as vocational training for children and young adults.
