Phnom Penh, 14 September 2026 — Wing Bank (Cambodia) Plc, one of Cambodia’s fastest-growing digital banks, was named Cambodia’s Best Digital Bank 2026 at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence Ceremony in Singapore, marking its evolution from the country’s first fintech into a full-fledged commercial bank. The recognition places Wing Bank at the forefront of Cambodia’s highly competitive banking sector, where more than 50 banks are continuously advancing their digital capabilities to meet customers’ evolving needs.
Since becoming a fully licensed commercial bank in late 2020, Wing Bank has grown rapidly, serving more than 15 million customers through the Wing Bank App and a nationwide network of more than 12,000 agents, nearly 30 branches, and over 200,000 merchants.
Customers can open an account digitally and access more than 100 services through the Wing Bank App, including local and international money transfers, KHQR payments, mobile top-ups, bill payments, savings, loans and card management. The app also allows customers to earn Wingpoints by completing interactive missions and redeem them for rewards. Through WingFlex, a feature embedded in the Wing Bank App, customers can book transportation, purchase travel and event tickets, access entertainment, and buy local and international eSIMs, bringing banking, rewards and lifestyle services together on one seamless platform.
“Wing started with a simple idea, financial services should be within everyone’s reach,” said Akhitrawinyda Kith, Chief Marketing Officer. “Today, that idea has grown into a complete banking ecosystem that millions of Cambodians use every day. This recognition from Euromoney reflects our continued focus on making banking simpler, more accessible and more relevant to how our customers live, work and manage their money.”
The scale of that ecosystem is visible in its daily use. In 2025, Wing Bank processed more than 600 million transactions worth approximately USD 55 billion.
During the same year, Wing Bank recorded approximately USD 3.6 billion in total assets, USD 2.99 billion in deposits and USD 2.23 billion in loans, placing it among Cambodia’s five largest commercial banks by assets.
By year-end, Wing Bank’s digital lending service has reached approximately 1.7 million customers, with around USD 349 million disbursed. By using customers’ transaction activity to support access to formal credit, digital lending can help customers meet immediate financial needs while building a repayment history that may support future access to financing.
Saving follows the same principle. To date, more than 40,000 Save for a Goal accounts help customers turn small, regular deposits into visible progress toward the things they want to achieve.
Wing’s evolution from Cambodia’s first fintech to its Best Digital Bank reflects a broader principle: digital banking creates greater value when everyday transactions help customers save, build a credit history and access more formal financial services.
The experience continues to develop beyond transactions. Introduced in 2026, Jib Jib makes the Wing ecosystem more approachable and easier to explore. Through Jib Jib Missions, customers can discover services, complete activities and earn rewards in the Wing Bank App.
