PHNOM PENH – May 08, 2019 – Having launched its outbound money transfer service, Wing (Cambodia) Limited Specialised Bank is now expanding the reach of money transfer service to Thailand through its existing remittance partner, DeeMoney.

The launch of this new service also marks the first in the history of DeeMoney for inbound money transfer service from Cambodia. The new service is expected to open up a new world of possibilities for Thai individual as well as business owners who open their businesses in the country and look into sending money between Thailand and Cambodia.

Wing Chief Executive Officer, Jojo Malolos, said the launch of service marks another milestone in the history of international money transfer and it also show how Wing customers can do so much more via the Wing Money app, connecting Cambodian users to various part of the world.

“Through the convenience of Wing Money mobile app, locals as well as experts residing in Cambodia will be able to transfer the remittance to Thailand at the touch of their fingers and that the receiver will be able to cash out at any branches of Sawadeeshop as well as 31 of DeeMoney’s partnered banks in Thailand,” said Mr. Malolos, adding that the service will also enable Cambodians who look into sending money to Thailand meant for expanding their business there.

Mr. Aswin Phlaphongphanich, Sawasdeeshop Chief Executive Officer, DeeMoney’s representative says the launch of new service means there is a high demand of money transfer between the two countries and it is a privilege for DeeMoney to be partnering with Wing in providing a safe, secure, and convenient way for every Thai people to send money back home.

“We hope the launch of this new service will help boost the Thai investment in Cambodia, which would result in more jobs for the Cambodian population and the continuous growth in economics of the country,” said Mr. Aswin Phlaphongphanich, adding that DeeMoney expects this new service would provide positive result as same as the previous service (inbound money transfer from Thailand to Cambodia).
