Job Summary

The UI/UX Manager, Treasury Technology is responsible for leading the design and user experience strategy for Treasury technology platforms supporting the Bank’s Treasury operations and the Royal Group’s Global Treasury functions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Lead and manage the UI/UX design strategy for Treasury platforms supporting trading, liquidity management, securities, and treasury reporting activities. 
  • Design and optimize user journeys and workflows for treasury users, including front-office traders, middle-office risk teams, and back-office operations. 
  • Work closely with Treasury Product Owners and Technology teams to translate business requirements into effective user interface and user experience solutions. 
  • Develop and maintain design standards, UI guidelines, and design systems to ensure consistency across treasury applications. 
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions with treasury users to continuously improve platform usability and operational efficiency. 
  • Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups for treasury system enhancements and new digital initiatives. 
  • Ensure treasury platforms provide efficient data visualization and dashboards for trading activities, liquidity monitoring, and financial reporting. 
  • Collaborate with Technology teams to ensure UI/UX designs are implemented accurately and aligned with system architecture. 
  • Support treasury system projects including new platform implementations, system upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives. 
  • Promote best practices in human-centered design, accessibility, and performance optimization for financial systems. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in UI/UX design, digital product design, or user experience management. 
  • Experience designing enterprise platforms, financial systems, or trading systems is highly preferred. 
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and business users. 
  • Strong understanding of complex workflows and data-driven user interfaces. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related fields. 
  • Experience in banking, fintech, or financial institutions is an advantage. 

Skills & Competencies 

  • Strong expertise in UI/UX design principles, user journey mapping, and interaction design. 
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms. 
  • Ability to translate complex business processes into simple and intuitive user experiences. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability. 
  • Ability to work effectively with technology teams, product owners, and treasury business users. 

Language Requirements 

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken, sufficient for regulatory correspondence, audit support, and vendor communication.
