Wing Bank is proud to have partnered with CIA First International School for the school’s Charity Fun Run, an event that not only celebrated the school’s 20th anniversary but also raised significant funds for two vital causes: the Kantha Bopha Hospital and the Cambodian Red Cross. This collaboration highlights Wing Bank’s ongoing commitment to supporting community health and promoting meaningful social initiatives.

The event, held at Koh Pich, attracted over 4,000 participants, ranging from seasoned runners to families and individuals of all ages. The 4-kilometer run created an energetic and inclusive atmosphere, offering a fun and engaging way for the community to come together and support important causes.

Mr. Bunthe Hor, Deputy Chief Executive of Wing Bank, shared his thoughts on the event: “The Charity Fun Run is a wonderful opportunity to promote both physical well-being and community solidarity. This event embodies Wing Bank’s mission to create lasting, positive impacts within our communities. We are pleased to celebrate CIA First International School’s 20 years of academic excellence and their ongoing contributions to education and social causes in Cambodia.”

The Fun Run was more than just a race; it was a celebration of CIA First’s two decades of educational leadership and community engagement. In addition to the run, attendees enjoyed a variety of family-friendly activities, including gaming booths, live performances, face painting, and exciting prize draws. Wing Bank’s booth was also on hand to provide information and engage with customers.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Kantha Bopha Hospital and the Cambodian Red Cross, reinforcing the shared values of CIA First International School and Wing Bank in supporting the health and welfare of Cambodian communities. This collaboration demonstrates a joint commitment to making a positive, tangible impact on the lives of Cambodians across the nation.

Wing Bank has long been dedicated to social responsibility, actively participating in a range of initiatives that support both health and community engagement. These include organizing the Run for Cambodia Children, sponsoring the Angkor Empire Marathon, and supporting various charitable events like the Charity Walk 250km Along the Mekong and Happy Football Cambodia Australia, which provides safe football-playing opportunities for underprivileged children in Siem Reap. Wing Bank also partners with the Boeng Ket Football Club and sponsors the Banker Cycling event, organized by the Association of Banks in Cambodia.

Through these initiatives, Wing Bank continues to lead efforts in fostering community spirit, promoting well-being, and driving meaningful social change across Cambodia.
