JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and implement test strategies, automation frameworks, and QA processes for core banking products
- Creating comprehensive test plans that cover various aspects of the product or service, including functional, non-functional, and security testing.
- Developing detailed test cases based on requirements and specifications and executing them to identify defects.
- Lead test planning, execution, and defect management for products/services
- Lead the adoption of automated testing tools to optimize workflows
- Reviews and validates test cases and execution results
- Approves or suggests revisions to test cases before stakeholder endorsement
- Assign and oversee testing tasks, ensuring timely execution
- Work closely with project managers, developers, and business users to understand the requirements and align QA eƯorts.
- Analyzing test results, identifying potential problems, and working with development teams to find solutions
- Collaborate with developers to prioritize fixes and ensure a smooth release cycle
- Provide reports on testing progress and results
- Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
- 3+ years of experience in QA tester or relevant role.
- 2 years’ experience in related field required with supervisory experience a plus
- Comprehensive knowledge of current standards and practices in software development
- Working with test tools and automation frameworks a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in a team spirit and under pressure.
- Fluent in spoken and written English
