JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver e-commerce features on time and with quality ≥ 95% of releases delivered on schedule with zero critical cyber security issue
- Ensure scope clarity, estimation accuracy, and dependency management
- Monitor delivery progress and proactively remove blockers
- Enforce quality gates before release (testing, security, approvals)
- Maintain high platform stability and performance – Ensure ≥ 99.95% uptime
- Define and monitor system SLAs (uptime, latency, error rate)
- Lead incident management and root cause analysis (RCA)
- Drive preventive improvements (monitoring, alerting, performance tuning)
- Boost team productivity and efficiency – Achieve sprint completion rates ≥90% and code review turnaround < 2 days.
- Track sprint performance (velocity, completion rate)
- Optimize development workflows and remove inefficiencies
- Enforce code review standards and turnaround expectations
- Ensure alignment between tech roadmap and business goals – 100% of roadmap items aligned
- Ensure roadmap visibility and alignment across teams
- Translate business goals into a clear technical roadmap
- Prioritize initiatives based on impact and feasibility
- One Successor with 80% readiness by Dec.2026
- Identify and develop a successor through structured coaching and delegated leadership opportunities
- Ensure successor achieves ≥ 80% readiness by demonstrating capability in delivery, team leadership, and strategic alignment
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Scalable system architecture and microservices design
- API design and enterprise system integration
- Cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, logging, monitoring, and tracing)
- Agile delivery and Scrum practices
- Application security, performance, and quality engineering
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with 4+ years in a technical management or senior leadership role, preferably in e-commerce
- Customer Journey & Experience – Knowledge of how technology impacts acquisition, conversion, retention, and loyalty.
- Inventory, Order, and Fulfillment Operations – Understanding of back-office systems (ERP, OMS, WMS) and their role in customer satisfaction.
- Agile Product Delivery – Business impact of agile delivery, MVPs, and iterative feature rollouts.
- Stakeholder & Cross-functional Communication – Ability to translate technical updates into business terms and align priorities across departments.
