Job Responsibilities

  • Document all risks and key controls across the business. Ensure risk registers are regularly reviewed and current. Business risk profile documented and understood.
  • Annual plan is comprehensive, robust and in place to reduce loss events. Key controls identified and documented. The annual test plan outlines the QA strategy, approach and schedule and the schedule is adhered to
  • Work closely with develop team on new system build-up, and identify the risk of not align with the WING operational risk and compliance framework
  • Act as the primary contact point and source of advice/guidance to Business and Risk stakeholders for quality assurance.
  • Assist Managers develop checklists and testing programs so they are able to self-check their own departments to identify risks, issues or adverse trends.
  • When required, assist in the coordination of information for Audits, regulators or other internal departments.
  • Ensure active management and implementation of the WING operational risk and compliance framework and other internal policies.
  • Prepare reports outlining the results of all QA checks and ensure that results are discussed with the process owner. Ensure that reports include the following:
  • a) Recommendations on remedial action required to rectify gaps or issues identified in the QA process
  • b) Agree ownership and timeframes for remediation.
  • c) Ensure that the Operations Manager/COO/CEO is notified of any adverse QA results
  • Track and monitor the progress of all outstanding audit & QA items that relate to the WING

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year with relevant industry experience- banking telecom, cards
  • Understanding of the financial institution’s operational risk and compliance policies and guidelines.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to interact with people from varied cultural backgrounds.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Result focus with strategy outlook.
