PHNOM PENH, 21 October 2026 – Wing Bank and Mett Yeung Association have launched an entrepreneurship and financial management training programme for more than 2,000 Wing Bank agents, co-funded by the Skills Development Fund and delivered by 3Cs.

“Our agents help people in their communities access everyday financial services while running businesses that support their families,” said Mr. Sum Sopheak, Associate Director, Agent Management at Wing Bank. “While we regularly train them to serve customers and provide essential financial services, this partnership builds on that work by helping them manage their income, plan household spending and access social protection.”

The programme also covers fraud prevention, operational risk, digital literacy and Wing Bank’s products and services. Participants will receive guidance on CamIE registration and support with National Social Security Fund (NSSF) enrolment.

“We are glad to work with Wing Bank on a programme that responds to agents’ everyday needs,” said H.E. La Vibol, Vice President of the Board of Directors at Mett Yeung Association. “Agents are a key point of contact for financial services in their communities. When they put what they learn into practice, the benefits can reach beyond their own businesses and families to the people they serve.”

The programme opened on 20 October 2026 at the National Technical Training Institute (NTTI) and runs until 22 April 2027. Seven batches of around 300 participants each will take place across Phnom Penh, Kandal, Takeo, Kampong Speu, Kampong Cham, Kratie, Battambang and Siem Reap.

Wing Bank has more than 12,000 agents nationwide, around 80% of whom are women, including mothers and homemakers who run businesses while caring for their families.
