Wing Bank, KAA, and Mastercard Launch Exclusive Card for Cambodian Artists

A card that doubles as KAA membership, built with Mastercard around the practical needs of Cambodia’s working artists.

Phnom Penh, 7 August 2026 - Every country is shaped by its culture, and by the artists who keep it alive. As more Cambodian artists perform, exhibit and collaborate abroad, the practical side of that work, that is getting paid, crossing borders, staying connected, matters as much as the creative side.

Wing Bank, the Khmer Artists Association (KAA), and Mastercard have partnered to launch the KAA Exclusive Card, created exclusively for KAA members. It functions as both a Mastercard payment card and the official KAA membership card, letting artists pay, withdraw cash, and manage their finances worldwide through the Wing Bank App, with travel and lifestyle benefits built in.

Lok Chumteav Neak Oknha Mao Chamnan Kith Meng, President of the Khmer Artists Association, said, “the collaboration marks an important milestone in recognizing the value and contributions of Cambodian artists.” “This initiative not only honors Khmer artists but also offers practical financial and lifestyle benefits that support our members throughout their professional and personal journeys. We are pleased to work with Wing Bank and Mastercard to introduce a card that brings both identity and value to our artistic community,” she added.

For Wing Bank, the partnership is more than a product launch. Talent makes great art possible; the freedom to travel, get paid, and take part in today's economy is what lets artists make a living from it.

Dr. Dmytro Kolechko, CEO of Wing Bank, said, “No country exists without its own culture, and no culture survives without the people who keep making its art. Wing is a 100% Khmer-owned bank, so this is not a marketing decision for us. It is an obligation that comes with who we are. We built this card so that a KAA member's attention can stay on the work, and not on the logistics around it.”

The card reflects a simple view at Wing Bank: financial services should remove friction from an artist's life, not add to it. Alongside global payment acceptance, it gives KAA members a way to manage money and travel without banking overhead getting in the way of the work itself.

Mr. Sharad Jain, Country Manager for Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos, Mastercard, added, “Our collaboration with Wing Bank and the Khmer Artists Association underscores Mastercard’s belief in using digital payments as a catalyst for opportunity. By equipping Cambodian artists with secure, flexible, and globally accepted payment tools, we aim to support their livelihoods and help them connect more easily to opportunities at home and abroad.”

Benefits include a four-year annual fee waiver, complimentary airport lounge access, travel insurance, and cashback on selected bookings. The design draws on Cambodian heritage and cultural symbols, so the card doubles as a keepsake as well as a financial tool. Cardholders manage balances, alerts, and security settings through the Wing Bank App, with code verification on every transaction.

KAA members can apply for the card at Wing Bank Tower, Chroy Changvar Branch, Boeung Trabek Branch, and Sen Sok Branch. For more details, call 023 999 989.
