Wing Bank launches in-app travel eSIMs

Wing Bank now brings that travel solution into a familiar place on the phone. Through a collaboration with Boxo, the Wing Bank App now includes an in-app option to purchase travel eSIM covering more than 100 countries and territories. Travelers can set up mobile data before departure and stay connected abroad without lining up at SIM counters or worrying about unexpected roaming charges.

To purchase a travel eSIM, customers simply open the Wing Bank App, access Boxo, and select Buy New eSIM. They can then choose their destination country, select a suitable data package, and follow the prompts to install and activate the eSIM before traveling.

The service supports global destinations across Asia, Europe, Australia, and other regions especially visited by Cambodian travelers. It enables customers to stay connected from the moment they land, whether navigating airport arrivals, checking train schedules, finding nearby cafés, booking rides, or sharing their first travel moments online through reliable and secure internet access.

According to Ministry of Tourism data, Cambodian outbound travel reached approximately 1.36 million travelers in 2025, reflecting growing demand for seamless digital travel tools and reliable connectivity abroad.
