Wing Bank has donated USD 10,000 to support Smile Cambodia’s 2026 surgical missions, reaffirming the bank’s longstanding commitment to improving community health and wellbeing.

The first mission of the year took place from 19 to 21 March in Siem Reap, where international medical teams from Future Smile China and BEAM Hong Kong worked alongside Cambodian doctors and nurses to provide lifechanging surgeries for patients with cleft lip and palate, burn injuries, and other facial deformities. Without treatment, these conditions can affect a person’s ability to eat, speak, or attend school, and many families are unable to afford care on their own.

“With every smile restored, we are helping give someone a new beginning,” said Dr. Dmytro Kolechko, CEO of Wing Bank. “We are honored to have supported Smile Cambodia over the years in this meaningful mission. We believe true impact comes from consistent action that supports not only financial growth, but also the well-being of our communities.”

Thanks to Wing Bank and other dedicated partners, this year’s mission is expected to support around 250 patients. These new surgeries build on a remarkable legacy: since 2015, Smile Cambodia has transformed more than 5,837 lives through free medical procedures and ongoing social support.

As part of the mission, Wing Bank also joined the “Walk for a Smile” event at Angkor Wat, led by His Excellency Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, and His Excellency Professor Chheang Ra, Minister of Health. Around 40 Wing Bank staff walked alongside community members to raise funds and awareness for accessible reconstructive surgery demonstrating the bank’s strong culture of volunteerism and belief in collective action.

An official donation handover followed during a solidarity dinner on 22 March at the Empress Angkor Resort and Spa, bringing together donors, medical teams, and supporters to celebrate another chapter of shared commitment.

Smile Cambodia continues to offer free treatment nationwide. Families seeking assistance can call 012 655 786, 023 211 405, or 096 846 6991. The public may also donate directly through the Wing Bank app or any Wing agent using biller codes 9927 (KHR) and 9928 (USD), with 100% of contributions going toward surgical missions.

Wing Bank remains committed to empowering communities through long term partnerships, meaningful CSR initiatives, and sustainability efforts ensuring every Cambodian child has the opportunity to live a healthy, confident, and fulfilling life.
