Wing Bank has contributed 20 million riels to Angkor Hospital for Children during the celebration of the 12th Bon Phkar Prak Moha Samki in Siem Reap province. This donation supports the free treatment of young Cambodian children.
Since its inception in 1999, Angkor Hospital for Children has been a beacon of hope for families across the nation. With an annual operating cost of approximately $6 million, the hospital treats around 100,000 young patients each year, many from underprivileged backgrounds. Public donations are crucial in enabling AHC to provide pediatric care at no cost.
“We are profoundly moved by the resilience and determination of the children from needy communities,” said Bunthe Hor, Deputy CEO of Wing Bank. “We call upon everyone to join us in this vital mission to save Cambodian children. Together, we can nurture the future leaders of our nation and create a brighter tomorrow.”
This marks the sixth year that Wing Bank has supported the noble cause of Angkor Hospital. In addition to financial contributions, the bank has utilized its media assets to support fundraising efforts for the hospital’s life-saving mission.
The public is encouraged to support the lives of children in Cambodia by making donations to the hospital via the attached KHQR. Donations are free of charge from any bank, and the entire amount will go directly to the hospital.
