JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate collaboration with relevant stakeholders to prepare accurate financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and statement of equity) and key ratios for Royal Group (“RGC”). Ensure reports are completed properly and on time.
- Proactively review the financial performance of the assigned business line and CAPEX spending. Identify key successes/issues affecting the company’s financial performance and prepare detailed commentary reports monthly.
- Communicate any abnormal trends to senior management for further commendation and decision-making.
- Prepare and analyze variance reports on a monthly basis, comparing actual performance against the previous period and budget. Ensure thorough understanding of the discrepancies and their causes.
- Prepare financial impact reports for any promotions or business cases related to the assigned business line. Ensure all material impacts are considered, free from clerical errors, and effectively communicate any issues or findings to relevant teams.
- Ensure accurate post-evaluation is conducted on agreed schedules, with results of performance evaluations well communicated to the responsible commercial teams.
- Ensure the KPI master file is updated with any new KPIs for the assigned business line in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assist with ad hoc requests and urgent projects within the business finance team as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in management accounting and group reporting.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Highly proficient in working with large spreadsheets.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and able to work independently.
- Experience working with and presenting to senior executives and group “RGC” staff.
- Experience in the banking industry and its group reports is a plus.
- Proficiency in English.
