Job Descriptions

  • Process cheque transactions by accurately verifying and validating cheque details, including account numbers, signatures, and amounts.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies during the cheque clearing process.
  • Sort and batch cheques for clearing, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to cheque transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all cheque transactions, including reconciliation and reporting.
  • Monitor and track the status of cheque clearing activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to service level agreements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and concerns related to cheque transactions.
  • Identify and report any suspicious or fraudulent activities to the appropriate authorities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Banking and Finance, Business Management or related fields
  • At least 3-year experience in Banking sector preferably in the local remittance and check clearing
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations, policies, and procedures related to cheque clearing
