JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, set expectations, and foster technical growth.
- Define architecture, tools, and frameworks aligned with business and security needs.
- Manage technical delivery of projects, mitigate risks, and ensure sprint alignment.
- Quality Assurance & Governance
- Work with QA and DevOps to maintain release quality and infrastructure integrity.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and business leaders to align development strategy with priorities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (master’s preferred)
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in backend and full-stack development
- 3+ years of experience in managing engineering teams
- Proven experience delivering scalable digital products
- Hands-on experience with microservices, CI/CD, and cloud platforms
- Proven experience on coding standards and ensure high-quality code through reviews and testing strategies
- Deep understanding of system design and backend infrastructure
- Familiarity with security standards and data privacy in banking systems
- Experience balancing project deadlines with technical debt
- Awareness of fintech regulatory and compliance factors
