JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and implement enterprise DevOps strategy aligned with platform engineering principles and delivery goals. Promote shift-left and security-by-design practices.
- Oversee build and deployment pipelines for microservices, backend APIs, and mobile apps. Ensure speed, reliability, and traceability across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Coach DevOps engineers, drive competency growth, and maintain a culture of automation, quality, and accountability.
- Implement comprehensive observability, including logs, metrics, traces, and dashboards to proactively detect issues.
- Ensure audit readiness by enforcing encryption, policy-as-code, vulnerability scans, secret rotation, and IAM reviews.
- Design and validate disaster recovery procedures and high-availability deployments across multi-cluster and hybrid cloud environments.
- Embed DevOps support into agile teams to streamline environment setup, deployment feedback loops, and production rollouts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (master’s preferred)
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus
- 5+ years in DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering roles
- 3+ years managing DevOps teams in a cloud-native or Kubernetes-based environment
- Proven experience implementing infrastructure-as-code (IaC), auto-scaling, and blue/green deployments
- Hands-on delivery of DevOps solutions in regulated environments such as finance or banking
- Clear understanding of deployment SLAs, rollback plans, and disaster recovery protocols
- Knowledge of cloud financial management and capacity planning for banking environments
- Deep familiarity with agile delivery principles and collaboration with cross-functional squads
- Understanding of compliance, audit trails, and access governance in CI/CD workflows
