Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Product Ownership: Serve as the primary product owner, defining the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities. Act as the key point of contact for stakeholders and maintain alignment between business goals and product strategy.
- Advanced System Analysis & Design: Interpret complex system diagrams, API specifications, and system logic/algorithms. Lead the design and optimization of processes and workflows, ensuring they meet strategic business needs.
- Comprehensive Product Development: Drive the end-to-end development lifecycle of products, from ideation through launch, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and defining the product vision.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate project timelines and resources in collaboration with dedicated PMO staff to ensure project alignment with strategic goals. Utilize project management principles to support project execution and delivery.
- Supportive IT Business Analysis: Provide necessary IT business analysis support by liaising with the ITBA department to ensure that product requirements are effectively translated into technical specifications without assuming full ITBA responsibilities.
- Business Development Integration: Collaborate closely with the business development team to identify and evaluate new opportunities and integrate them into the strategic product planning process.
- Quality Assurance & Market Research: Uphold the highest quality standards and maintain a rigorous attention to detail. Conduct thorough market research to ensure product competitiveness and market fit.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in a combined role of product ownership, product development, and supportive project coordination within fintech, digital banking, or telecommunications industries.
- Experience in supporting cross-functional teams and projects, demonstrating effective collaboration and coordination skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to make decisions that align with the company’s strategies and values.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, capable of engaging and influencing senior management and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, adept at employing these techniques to improve project delivery and team efficiency.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to a variety of audiences.to a variety of audiences.
