JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Reporting: Ensure all financial reports are completed within the agreed timeframes, error-free, and provide appropriate commentaries to explain variances when necessary.
- General Ledger Management: Perform data entry for banking service fees, including both system and manual entries.
- Journal Preparation: Prepare journals for MC/Visa transactions, cost recognition, and various financial operations including SME, MG, and WU.
- Sales Invoices: Issue official sales invoices to corporate partners and customers.
- Receivables Management: Prepare aging reports for all receivables and proactively follow up with corporate partners to ensure timely collections.
- Accruals and Reconciliations: Prepare accrual interest for bank placements, balance sheet reconciliations for all receivables, and currency positions.
- Account Management: Prepare necessary documentation for account openings, update signatories, and handle other account-related tasks as required.
- Tax Filings: Ensure all necessary forms and documents for tax filings are prepared in a timely manner.
- Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform other tasks as assigned by the line manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- At least 1 year of accounting experience.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and computer applications.
- Excellent reconciliation skills.
- Effective teamwork and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and time management skills.
- High level of accountability and responsibility.
