JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Financial Reporting: Ensure all financial reports are completed within the agreed timeframes, error-free, and provide appropriate commentaries to explain variances when necessary.
  • General Ledger Management: Perform data entry for banking service fees, including both system and manual entries.
  • Journal Preparation: Prepare journals for MC/Visa transactions, cost recognition, and various financial operations including SME, MG, and WU.
  • Sales Invoices: Issue official sales invoices to corporate partners and customers.
  • Receivables Management: Prepare aging reports for all receivables and proactively follow up with corporate partners to ensure timely collections.
  • Accruals and Reconciliations: Prepare accrual interest for bank placements, balance sheet reconciliations for all receivables, and currency positions.
  • Account Management: Prepare necessary documentation for account openings, update signatories, and handle other account-related tasks as required.
  • Tax Filings: Ensure all necessary forms and documents for tax filings are prepared in a timely manner.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform other tasks as assigned by the line manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 1 year of accounting experience.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and computer applications.
  • Excellent reconciliation skills.
  • Effective teamwork and ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and time management skills.
  • High level of accountability and responsibility.
  • Strong commitment to completing tasks accurately and on time.
