JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of the Hadoop clusters.
- Monitoring system health and performance, escalating issues as needed.
- Support routine system backups, updates, and patches.
- Help on troubleshoot hardware and software issues within the Hadoop environment.
- Document procedures, system configurations, and operational activities.
- Collaborate with senior team members on optimization and performance tuning.
- Learn and apply best practices for Hadoop administration and Security.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Graduated bachelor degree of Information Technology, preferably in the field of Computer Science.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in Hadoop ecosystem administration
- Strong understanding of HDFS, MapReduce, YARN, Hive, HBase, Spark, NIFI, Ranger, and Kafka.
- Experience with Linux/Unix System administration
- Knowing of scripting languages (Shell script, Python, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with cluster monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
