- Focus on managing and resolving issues, establish and maintain communication within technology to keep them updated with the status of their requests, perform changes on production systems, and proactively escalate and issues that cannot be resolve.

- Provide technical support & analysis
- Install, configure and administer Oracle servers, including the design, configuration and operation of n-node clusters, data recovery, and user/group/role definition
- Install, Configure, troubleshoot and support Goldengate Replication between different version of Oracle Database and across Goldengate releases.
- Perform Goldengate Upgrade/re-setup replication w/out any data loss
- Strong track record supporting complex Goldengate Replication Setup across different release of Oracle Database and different release of Goldengate
- Ensure best practices in database planning design, configuration, performance and resilience
- Good knowledge in executing Near zero down time migration for oracle database (on-premises and cloud) using oracle Goldengate.
- Good Knowledge of Oracle Goldengate Microservices
- Creates and maintains production, reports and development databases
- Performs proactive capacity planning to ensure database availability is not affected
- Performs proactive monitoring and performance tuning of the database instances
- Install various patches to keep databases up to date and install new versions of the Oracle/Postgresql database to ensure compatibility with existing applications
- Plans and implements backup and recovery of the databases.
- Migrate Non-CDB database to CDB database as needed.
- Implements and enforces security for all the Databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL).
- Puts standards in place to ensure that all application design and code is produced with proper integrity, security and performance. The DBA will perform reviews on the various database objects design and code to ensure the site standards are being adhered to.
- Provides technical assistance from database perspective to application development teams in designing various objects in the database schema.
- Graduated bachelor degree of Information Technology, preferably in the field of Computer Science.
- Proficiency in Engineering and Managing Replication technologies like Oracle Golden Gate
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with Oracle
- 3+ years of relevant experience in implementing and maintaining Golden Gate replications across multiple Oracle
- Experience of Oracle Golden Gate 19c, 21c, setting up of Golden Gate Microservices Replication from oracle to oracle and oracle to bigdata, troubleshoot Golden Gate issues, maintaining Golden Gate trail files in ACFS/DBFS
- Experience in database architectures, replication, problem diagnosis and resolution, shell scripting, PL/SQL development, and backup and recovery is also required
- Experience in troubleshooting problems relating to the Oracle database that may originate or exist in the infrastructure that supports the data store including but not limited to application server, network, storage, or operating system component/layer
- Experience with Golden Gate Replication
- Experience in upgrading, patching, and migrating databases
- Experience in scripting to automate routine database tasks and maintenance
- Experience with Debezuim, Kafka, Nifi and Bigdata cluster.
- Strong knowledge of building complex SQL queries
- Self-starter and be able to perform work with minimal supervisory direction
- Extremely detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills
