The Senior Litigation Specialist is responsible for managing and representing the bank in legal proceedings, ensuring efficient case processing, and maintaining proper documentation. This role involves preparing for trials and hearings, managing case files, communicating with clients, and coordinating with the team and management to achieve timely resolution of cases.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Trial Preparation and Representation: Prepare for trials and hearings, and represent the bank in court proceedings.
- Case Management: Organize and manage case files and client records, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and offering legal advice.
- Court Process Management: Speed up the court case process and ensure timely resolution (aiming for judgment and auction within one year).
- Team Supervision: Monitor the daily activities of the litigation team and ensure efficient handling of cases.
- Reporting and Updates: Cooperate with the line manager to report court case statuses on time, updating the manager regularly on case progress and challenges.
- Issue Resolution: Collaborate with the manager to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in the banking or financial services sector, with 1-2 years of experience in litigation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Internet, and Email.
- Strong knowledge of banking laws and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Good attitude, teamwork, honesty, and effective communication skills.
