JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
- Ensure test coverage across UI, backend, integrations, and APIs.
- Perform functional, regression, UAT, integration, and system testing.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, or Cypress.
- Work with the QA Manager to expand automation test coverage in CI/CD pipelines.
- Accurately log and track bugs using tools such as JIRA or TestRail.
- Participate in bug triage meetings and verify resolved issues.
- Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Validate software against banking regulations, compliance standards, and security requirements.
- Support testing for data privacy, access controls, and authentication.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Provide QA sign-off for releases and support production validation when needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance/testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency with QA tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, JIRA, TestRail, Jenkins.
- Experience with mobile app testing (Android/iOS), API testing, and web applications.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodology, CI/CD, and Git version control.
- Familiarity with banking or fintech software testing is a plus.
