MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Tax Operations Manager in implementing strategic initiatives to improve tax operations efficiency and compliance.
  • Help develop and maintain standard operating procedures for tax-related processes.
  • Oversee the processing of tax payments at the Head Office level, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor and reconcile tax accounts to ensure all payments are correctly recorded and allocated.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing regulatory filings to ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
  • Help generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly tax reports for management review.
  • Liaise with internal departments, external agencies, and tax authorities as needed to resolve tax-related issues.
  • Prepare clear and concise communications for various stakeholders regarding tax matters.
  • Identify areas for improvement in tax operations processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with the Tax Operations Manager to implement process enhancements and best practices.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training programs for staff on tax procedures and updates in tax regulations.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring the team is informed and compliant.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Banking and Finance, Business Management or related fields
  • At least 3-5 year experience in Banking sector
  • At least 1-year experience in tax operations, tax processing and reporting
  • Experience in Teller Operation
  • Experience in implementing enhancement project.
  • Some knowledge in digital tax payment
  • Proficiency in tax software
  • Experience in training
