Quality Assurance Governance

• Own and manage the end-to-end testing process.
• Define quality standards, testing methodologies, and QA procedures.
• Establish release quality criteria and acceptance standards.
• Continuously improve testing practices and quality controls.
• Ensure compliance with SDLC and release management processes.

Test Planning & Coordination

• Prepare test strategies and test plans.
• Estimate testing effort and resource requirements.
• Coordinate testing activities across multiple environments.
• Prioritize testing based on business and operational risks.
• Manage test execution schedules.

Functional & Regression Testing Oversight

• Oversee execution of functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Ensure adequate test coverage of business requirements.
• Validate end-to-end business processes.
• Ensure critical business scenarios are fully tested before release.

Defect Management

• Review and prioritize defects.
• Coordinate defect triage meetings.
• Track defect resolution progress.
• Analyze recurring quality issues.
• Escalate critical defects and release risks.

Release Validation

• Coordinate release testing activities.
• Review release readiness.
• Approve QA sign-off for deployments.
• Ensure production deployment validation is completed.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain QA metrics and quality reports.
• Provide testing status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure test documentation remains accurate and current.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.

Experience

• 5+ years of software testing experience.
• 2+ years in a QA Lead or Senior QA role.
• Experience testing financial, banking, fintech, trading, or securities platforms is highly desirable.
• Experience leading testing activities across multiple releases.

Technical Skills

• Test planning and test management.
• Functional and regression testing.
• Defect management processes.
• API testing.
• Database validation and data verification.
• Release testing and UAT support.
