In 2025, Wing Bank significantly expanded its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts across Cambodia, increasing investment by 40% and delivering a wide range of initiatives spanning healthcare, humanitarian assistance, youth development, environmental protection, and community support.
These programmes reached thousands of people nationwide, reflecting the Bank’s long-term commitment to inclusive and sustainable national progress. Working closely with government institutions, NGOs, and local communities, Wing Bank aligned its efforts with Cambodia’s broader development ambitions.
“In 2025, we deepened our support for communities through meaningful partnerships and sustainable outcomes,” said Mr. Bunthe Hor, Deputy CEO of Wing Bank. “Our efforts prioritised healthcare, humanitarian support, and opportunities for young people, ensuring that our contributions create lasting impact.”
Healthcare, Community, and Humanitarian Support
From children’s health to emergency relief, healthcare and community support remained at the heart of Wing Bank’s CSR agenda. More than 850 employees took part in a charity run that raised KHR 20 million for Angkor Hospital for Children. The Bank further contributed KHR 20 million each to Angkor Hospital for Children and the Kantha Bopha Foundation on International Children’s Day—two institutions that together provide free medical treatment to more than 1.5 million patients every year.
Support also extended to specialised care. Wing Bank donated USD 10,000 to Smile Cambodia, enabling free surgeries for more than 120 patients with cleft lips, palates, and facial deformities.
Recognising ongoing blood shortages, the Bank partnered with the National Blood Transfusion Center to support donation drives, while also investing in employee wellbeing by opening an internal fitness centre offering free gym access.
Beyond healthcare, community outreach continued throughout the year. Employees donated KHR 8.8 million, along with rice and essential supplies, to more than 200 children at Branch Tree Center in Phnom Penh.
Wing Bank also promoted active lifestyles and community engagement by supporting the Bankers’ Cycling event and the “3,000 Steps Fun Run” for the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation, which drew more than 1,400 participants. Support for Angkor Sankranta and university Sangkran celebrations further reflected the Bank’s commitment to cultural preservation and youth engagement.
During the 2025 border situation, Wing Bank worked with the Foundation for Refugee Assistance to deliver emergency supplies across seven border provinces. Employees donated 5% of their December salaries, marking the third round of staff contributions since mid-2025. In addition, the Bank approved nearly USD 50,000 in loan write-off support for injured frontline soldiers and their families.
Youth Development, Employment, and Tech Innovation
Alongside immediate social needs, Wing Bank continued investing in Cambodia’s future workforce. Recognising the importance of skills development and private-sector growth, the Bank actively supported platforms that connect people with opportunity.
Through the National Career and Productivity Fair, Wing Bank engaged with more than 5,000 job seekers. It also supported major platforms such as the Cambodia Trade Expo, ASEAN Savings Day, and the Cambodia ASEAN Business Summit 2025, while sponsoring the International Business Chamber to strengthen dialogue on regional trade, investment, and economic integration.
Youth innovation formed another key pillar. In partnership with the Techo Startup Center, Wing Bank provided KHR 120 million in equity-free funding to seven startups under the Digital Platform Accelerator Program.
The Bank also supported the Turing Hackathon Cycle 9, which involved 40 participants and awarded KHR 9 million to winning teams. More than 100 students joined the Young Winger Development Program, while collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport under the Youth21 initiative focused on building digital skills among young Cambodians.
Promoting inclusion remained central to these efforts. Through a partnership with the Cambodian Children’s Fund, Wing Bank contributed USD 72,807 to a STEM education programme for girls at Tomorrow Academy. The programme currently supports 138 students—88 of them girls—through education and internship pathways in high-growth sectors.
Environmental Action
Environmental responsibility also featured prominently in the Bank’s CSR activities. During World Environment Month, Wing Bank supported anti-plastic initiatives in Sangkat Steung Mean Chey. On Arbor Day, the Bank funded tree planting and facility upgrades at Saen Sokh Primary School, benefiting 172 students.
In Takeo province, more than 250 employees joined National Environmental Sanitation Day, delivering clean water and hygiene education sessions to over 300 students.
“Building on these foundations, Wing Bank will continue to strengthen long-term partnerships and prioritise initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes, reinforcing our role as a long-term partner in Cambodia’s continued development,” Mr. Bunthe Hor concluded.
