Wing Personal Banking was crowned champion of the Wing Bank Cup 2026, concluding nearly two months of competition among employees from Wing Bank’s headquarters and provincial branches.

Beginning on 27 June, the annual tournament brought together 25 teams, with 18 players representing each team. Beyond competing on the field, employees from different departments and locations had the opportunity to meet, strengthen relationships and understand how their roles connect across the Bank.

The winning teams were:

  • Champion: Wing Personal Banking – Gold medals and USD 1,200
  • Runner-up: Wing Kampong Cham – Silver medals and USD 800
  • Third place: Wing Steung Sen – Bronze medals and USD 600
  • Fourth place: Representatives from Kratie – USD 400
  • Non-winning participating teams: USD 200 per team

Football offers a simple reminder. Although one player may score the goal, every goal begins with a team working together. Customer service works in much the same way. Each smooth transaction or timely response can depend on colleagues across different departments and provinces supporting one another behind the scenes.

The tournament also encouraged employees to stay active and support their physical and mental well-being. It forms part of Wing Bank’s wider employee programmes, which include professional development, staff recognition, team-building activities and wellness initiatives.

By building stronger connections among its employees, Wing Bank is creating a more coordinated team ready to provide reliable and responsive banking services to customers and communities nationwide.
