Wing Bank (Cambodia) Plc., one of Cambodia’s fastest-growing digital banks, and Passerelles Numériques Cambodia (PNC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly strengthen digital capabilities and create pathways to careers in technology for Cambodian youth.

Mr. Kang Taing, Talent Development & Employee Relation Director at Wing Bank, said: “While technology plays a key role in driving business growth, skilled human resources are essential to the development and effective use of technology. This collaboration will help students apply their academic knowledge in practice and prepare for their future careers.”

Under the agreement, PNC students will receive technical training directly from industry professionals and be given priority consideration for employment opportunities at Wing Bank through its talent recruitment programs. Providing young people with exposure to a real working environment is an important foundation for preparing them to become a capable workforce for the digital economy.

Mr. Hang Hybunna, Country Director of PNC, said: “We want to see our young people become not only users of technology, but also leaders and problem-solvers through digital technology. By joining with Wing Bank, we will help broaden their perspectives and give them the confidence to create new achievements for society.”

Investing in human capital is at the heart of Wing Bank’s priorities, as reflected in several youth development initiatives, including the Young Winger Development Program, Young Tech Talent Program, and Young Future Leader Program. The Young Winger Development Program has achieved particularly strong results, supporting a total of 803 young people. Among them, 296 have successfully completed the program, 214 have been recruited as full-time employees, and a further 266 are currently gaining practical work experience at Wing Bank.

The partnership between the two institutions demonstrates their shared commitment to supporting the Royal Government of Cambodia’s strategy to build an inclusive digital society. By equipping people with skills that keep pace with technological advancements, the partnership will contribute to Cambodia’s broader economic growth.
